50 days and counting

Halloween will be here before we know it. This past weekend we had our first official build weekend of the season. Most of Saturday we spent working out the details of the layout. We felt good, we got the layout of the Mayan Temple figured out. The rest of the weekend we worked on some of the props we need for the haunt. We started making vines with paper and latex. That was a fun mess. Others were working on mummy cases. It was a pretty good for the first build weekend of the season. Below are a few pictures from the weekend.

59 Days and counting

It so very hard to believe its only 59 days until we open the haunt. This weekend the fun begins. Were having the first build meeting of the year. We will be doing some more fine tuning of the of layout and were going to start building a couple Scarophagus for the Egypt room. With having a museum theme this year we have lots of projects.

107 Days Until Halloween

Its hard to believe Halloween is just around the corner. We have had meetings and made plans. We've changed plans and hopefully this is the last of the changes. Come August we will start building props.

This years haunt is "Nightmare at the Museum". At the moment were planning on being open October 23, 24, 30 & 31st. The 23rd if slated to be the preview night. What that means we hope everything is working but its the first night.
